Star TV, News Corp.'s Star TV initially designed specifically for mainland China and the creation of entertainment-based television entertainment channel, began broadcasting in Guangzhou, 2002 March 28, 24 hours a day to broadcast in Mandarin. Star TV points and Overseas Chinese version, Chinese version only aired in mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao and overseas edition in Singapore broadcast.
